Christmas Eve in Moravia

Christmas Eve in the Luhačovice Zálesí

The Christmas soup of Kelníky was a kyselica — mushrooms with dried plums and cream — set aside somewhere cool for a day before it was eaten. In the neighbouring Zlín estate, Bartoš recorded a supper of wafer with honey, boletus soup, sweet turnip, semolina, vdolky and fruit.

Part of Slovácko (Moravian Slovakia).
